Junior and Intermediate Architect and/or project manager
Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, coordinate structural, electrical and mechanical designs to determine the project design method;
Conduct zoning and building energy analyses; operate CAD equipment to produce architectural designs, create 3D rendering models and sketches;
Prepare construction drawings
Prepare drawings to resolve objections from DOB;
Represent architects on construction site, ensure builder compliance with design and advise on corrections under architect’s supervision;
Site surveying and construction administration
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architectural Design or related field
Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, and Adobe Suite.
Ability to work independently on all design phases
Knowledge of construction methods and materials related to multi-family is a plus
Knowledge of NYC zoning and building code is a plus
